Me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost 6 months and we were best friends for a year before that. We have been through a lot together since we both are having our own kind of family issues, both are completely broke and it's just been really hard.

I had my own apartment for a little while, that he lived with me in, but then the rent got to be too much and I moved out and I am currently staying with my boyfriend at his mom's house. His mom has A LOT of problems, between financial issues to being evicted from her house. She has 2 other children, but she's very clingy towards my boyfriend and basically wants him attached to her hip at all times, he barely has a minute for himself, without her calling his name and wanting him to do something else for her. So he's been really stressed just about dealing with his mother (she can be a handful) and trying to find a job, get his life back together..etc. and he also seems to be moody more. I've been trying to help out as best I can so he can relax a little more, which never seems to work anyways, no matter how much i try, but...i try!

But, I've noticed recently, we don't really talk like we used too, we don't kiss, or have sex, or do anything together like we used too when we lived together in our own little place, and we haven't been fighting either. I mean I completely understand how he feels and how the whole atomosphere and environment is completely different than it was when it was just the 2 of us, but it just hurts. We never go out and do anything, like just us, everytime we want to do something it always ends up becoming a family event and we really never get any alone time or privacy here...ever. He doesn't even have his own room, he's sleeping in the living room on the couch and I made a bed on the floor.

So it's not really the idealic situation. Should I be worred about our relationship? Or do you think this is just a hurtle that we both need to get through and once things start looking up for both of us, things may improve?
