Should I be worried about my friend's dieting?

So my friend just recently started this thing called a raw food diet. I don't really know what that means but I just learned that she lost 8 pounds in 1-2 weeks. Is this normal weight loss or do you think that she isn't eating enough? When she first started this diet I warned her to make sure that she eats enough and I'm not sure if she's doing that since she lost 8lbs. so quickly and she was already smal to begin with..so should I be concerned? Is this raw food thing healthy or is she just doing it wrong?
