I have a 30 gallon container outside and we call it a pond lol but it has wild guppies that have been breeding for a few years, so we have quite a lot. We also have one male betta, very peaceful little guy, and a mollie. The pond does not have a filter since the power outlet doesn't work. There are live plants and gravel at the bottom, and I do large water change once a week, trying to get as much poop out as I can.
Should I buy a 30 gal. container from Ace, etc so they can have a filtered home? Also, we just had a hurricane so we don't have many leaves left on the tree that shades it from the sun, so some time during the day they get sunlight.
What do you think, they are all living well but every week i suck up so much much and dead roots, it's quite gross.
