I'm in the market for a coupe, i'm not bothered about rear leg room or a small-ish boot. I just want an interesting and good looking car. The Brera looks amazing and compared to german competition just blows them out of the water in terms of style. However, as an actually car I've heard that it's unreliable and thirsty, even the diesel model. So do I get one and perhaps have expensive repair bills or do I get a BMW 3 Series coupe and be bored and disappointed?

BMW, Audi, Mercedes are for sheep. Note how many are bland and grey to blend in with the background so they don't stand out.

Alfa Romeos are for individuals. Notice how many are red to stand out from the crowd

If you want to be a boring grey sheep get a BMW, if you want to show you have taste, style and don't just follow the crowd get the Alfa Romeo. - AND GET A RED ONE!!
Oh yes - and as the other chap says don't get a wheezel - petrol only!

Looks amazing, not that wonderful to drive though, but that never harmed the Audi TT.

Don't believe the pub bores about Alfa reliability, they're as good as anything else these days. I had one for 4 years and it never gave a bit of bother. Pricey to service though and insurance is dear.

If you want one, go all the way and get a V6 not a Diseasel. No-one wants to hear tractor noises from an Alfa Romeo.
