should i get a pantech impact or a lg vu plus?

in about 3 weeks i am getting a new phone with at and t because my contract is about to be over. i am really torn between the pantech impact and the lg vu plus. i use to have a samsung impression and i loved it. i like the impact because i like the way the keyboard looks, and i like the lg vu plus because it's kind've like the impression. all i really care about is the texting (im a teenager). the impact looks really cute and cool, but the lg vu plus doesn't look as pretty but i guess it doesn't matter b/c im getting a phone cover anyway. if you've ever used both, which one should i get? which is more fun to use?
