The only downside I have for the iPod Touch is that the battery life will drain faster when doing certain things; using the internet for long periods of time, playing games, having the screen on for a longer time. You just have to be wise with your iPod settings. Turn the back light to the lowest level possible, use the internet only when needed, don't keep the screen on for an excessive amount of time.
