Should I get the Blackberry Bold 9700 now or wait for the 9780?

I live in the UK so the new Blackberry Bold 9780 won't be out for another couple of months. I'm thinking of getting the Blackberry Bold 9700 this christmas for a great price and then I will install OS 6.

I'm in desperate need of a new phone and I'm not considering any other phones (hate all droid phones, bored of iphones). I'm mainly going to use it for texting and twitter and watching videos. So should I get the 9700 now or wait? :)
I hate the Blackberry Torch. Never liked slider phones.
 
if u have to pick between the two wait. the new ones are always better then the old versions. but did u look at the blackberry torch? its an amazing new phone with a fulll touch screen and a slideout version of the blackberry keyboard. just saying it is a nice phone.
