Should I get the iPhone 3GS or the LG BL40 (new chocolate)?

I am with Bell currently and my contract is ending I'm not sure if I should stay and get the iPhone or switch to Telus for the new chocolate. I would prefer the iPhone but can you get unlimited texting with it or will I have to get a ridiculous $100 a month plan? And how is texting and the touch screen response for the new chocolate?
 
I don't know much about the chocolate. I do know that you have to have a $30 a month data charge for the iphone. The texting is $5 for 200, $15 for 1500 or $20 for unlimited, and $30 for family unlimited. Plus what ever the phone plan is. I do love my iphone, it also my 2 year old favorite thing to play with. The phone part isn't as good as my last phone. It doesn't pick up a signal as good. If you live somewhere there might be a weak signal make sure you check the coverage first. Att's coverage isn't the best.

I don't have 3g where I live but i connect to my wireless internet at home and can search the internet pretty fast, download video, watch youtube. When I am in town it still works decent for simple webpages but won't I can't watch video. I would look at all the options before you just into it. There are a lot of nice phones out there.
