My cat ran away and to try and deal with the grief after over a week I started to look into getting another cat from the same breeder. Miraculously after nearly 2 weeks my blessed cat came home and I am so grateful as I adore him.
The thing is I got a little girl cat from a breeder. I don't like the way the breeder treats her cats. The adults are given to new owners completely shorn. This cat would normally have a really long magnificent coat but because the breeder does not groom her adults that don't get homes she gives them to new owners with no fur. It is sad to see the skinny little dear. When I go to her she purrs like anything and starts to press her paws up and down on the spot. She has a beautiful face. I want to keep her but I am renting a house and only told the landlord I have 2 cats.
I would never have got her had I not been heartbroken for my boy but he came back, a miracle since he has never been away so long.
I know I am stupid and should have waited longer but she is such a delicate creature and I don't want to give her back to the horrible breeder.
With respect to the house. The cats are so well behaved and have never done a thing to cause a home owner to be concerned. I just have no family nor many friends as I moved to a new area and have had terrible stress since coming here with discrimination and hatred towards me. I suffer from debilitating pain and find cats very therapeutic. They emit love and affection to soothe you when you are not well.
If all the cats get along I am tempted to keep it a secret and keep her. My plan at this stage is to help her get her strength and dignity back and grow her coat. See if my cats will accept her.
If my cats don't like her I won't be able to have her I suppose. I am just not sure what to do because she is so filled with gratitude towards me to take her from the unpleasant standards the breeder has to a loving home. Her face is of gratitude and relief. The cat comes to me with love and I want to keep her especially since they don't hurt the house and bring me such comfort and joy.
