I've been breastfeeding my son for over six months now and have zero sex drive, I know it's the b/f that's causing this as I'm still attracted to my other half, love him dearly and WANT to have a good sex life, I'm happy enough with my body so it's not a confidence issue but it's constantly on my mind and although he's good as gold and doesn't complain I just feel so bad for him. I know exhaustion is probably a part of it too and we're both pretty tired most of the time but I just don't ever feel sexual. At the moment it's once a month if he's lucky and that's only because I do it to make him happy, if it were up to me with my sex drive I would be comfortable never having sex.
On the other hand I'm still happy b/f my son, I've cut back the daytime feeds somewhat and tend to stick to just mornings, evenings and if he wakes during the night so I'm kinda just wondering if anyone else has been in this position and what they did about it? Our relationship is happy other than the no sex but I know that would make it so much better and I know we'd both be happier to get back on track!
