Should I go for a Vauxhall Corsa or a Fiat Grande Punto?

Hello everyone, I need a bit of advice, please. I need to buy a car soon but I'm torn between a corsa and a grande punto. I've had a look at both and driven both and they seem very similar to me. Can anyone say which is better and why? Also my bf will be driving the car on occasion and I just wondered which one is less girlie? Thank you!
 
I prefer the look of the Fiat. They possibly feel similar, because they were developed together, with the design & majority of the engines being the differentiators. They share the 1.3 diesel but the rest of the engines are different, so it may come down to which one of those you prefer. Both have their problems (like most cars) just do some research into it & keep them regularly serviced. Also check out the latest Mazda 2 & Seat Ibiza
 
I'm no big fan of either, so I wouldn't buy either. FIAT, despite great improvements, still have plenty of build quality & reliability issues, although they seem to be minor problems as a rule. The Corsa of similar age seems to have just as many, if not more issues - older ones were pretty good.
