Should i keep on rapping?

Ok so i started rapping like 2 weeks ago. I started it because i have a natural talent in writing (having great detail in storys, being deep in poems, etc) but i dont like writing stories and i think poems are boring. Rapping in the other hand is great, it has music in it and i love saying rhymes, expecally if people are liking what you worked on. But the only reason i have a lil skill in rapping is becuase of my writing ability. So do you think if i keep rapping i can get better and eventually be good? or should i try to find a different hobbie. ty for who ever answers this question. oh ya and no "rapping isnt music" crap please.
