Should i let someone take over payments on my truck?

I have a truck that i am possibly interested in letting the right person take over payments. Its not that i cant afford it but its a hefty $400 a month with 4 or 5 years left. Is there any way i can legally protect myself? Like what happens with insurance and registration? What if the vehicle breaks? I understand i will be liable for the bank payment but will i be able to take the person to court over it? Just bad case scenerio
 
Until the vehicles title is out of your name then your responsible for anything and everything related to the vehicle, including traffic tickets!

If someone wants to buy the car then they need to pay you outright!
