Should I meet up with my muslim boyfriend whilst he's fasting during Ramadan?

I'm a christian and my boyfriend is muslim and I've always known he's very into his religion, he doesn't drink eats halal prays all the time etc etc and now since it's Ramadan he's fasting and he says that he can only speak to me in a friendly way and that he can't touch me, not even a hug. So I was like that's fine even though it's going to be difficult but obviously this is very important to him so I'm happy to do what he wants...however he wants to meet up with me later on this month coz we'll be in the same area for about a week and I don't think we should! I don't want him to get tempted....he says he can restrain himself etc etc and obviously I wouldn't touch him but I know it will make things difficult for him and I don't want to put him in that position! however when I suggested it to him he got upset and insisted on seeing me! I don't know what to do!
