Should I neuter my dog?

I have a 5 month old Border Collie. I am trying to decide whether or not to have him neutered. I heard that if you neuter him, he will not mature. And if this is true, I don't want my dog to still be like a puppy when he is an adult. Am I supposed to wait until he is older to neuter him so that he matures? Any help is good. Thanks
 
well itsup to you and honistly i dont like t nuter my dogs becaus gad made them that way and if he wanted to nuter them the he would of made them that way

Neutering a dog does not prevent maturity, it will prevent aggressive behavior, urinating on everything, and prostrate cancer.

If you really want to know all the reasons why to neuter your pet, call a vet. They will be more than happy to talk to you about it! :)

While you're at it, your dog should have a check-up, rabies shots, vaccinations, and started on heartworm prevention
 
YES!!! neutering is the most humane, responsible thing an animal owner can do. unless you are going to breed him he will be a much happier dog. do it as soon as you can before he reaches sexual maturity. it's just not fair to leave a dog intact when he will never be able to do anything about it!
