I want to become an officer in the Army via ROTC, that way I don't have to attend OCS.
I need all the help with money I can get, but wouldn't being deployed during college increase fees?
The extra years in the reserve would help my pay as an officer but would it be worth the extra fees of possible deployment while in college?
I don't want to have to owe any loans to anyone after college and will be attending a in-state college that is not very expensive (Kent State University: Ohio).
A couple more questions;
Do you get payed as much as someone in active duty when deployed?
Is there a chance I may not be deployed at all through college?
