Should I replace my Powermill powerful blender polycarbonate jug?

It has a hairline crack. I spoke to customer service and they said it would probably be ok if it doesn't get worse and it hasn't. I"ve read online that polycarbonate leaches harmful materials but it is so small that it doesn't matter. I'm just wondering if it might leach more because of the crack in which case I should replace it even if it doesn't get worse.

I live in Australia and replacement jug is $85 and I was told it was improved with an extra o-ring to make it less likely to crack again.
