i have a 1992 tempo. it has never been on the highway and has close to 180,000 miles on it. it runs great in the city, there are no noises or vibrations at 55, but now im taking it on the highway. it just recently has had a tuneup, new brakes and lines, new struts n shocks, and a new muffler.
