I know this doesn't relate to this section, but I love C&A! I'm thinking about transfering high schools next year. I'm in 2 out of 3 honors classes that my school offers for freshman this year, but in the school that I want to transfer in, doesn't, and I'm afraid that it'll effect my college application when time comes. The reason I want to transfer is because I decided to go to a different high school than my friends due to me wanting to follow in my brothers footsteps. He graduated in the school I'm attending at now, which I hate. I'm basically the loner girl that doesn't have any friends right now, and I even eat lunch in the bathroom or library because I don't know anyone. It's been a week since school started, and ughh. It's just so hard making friends. Academically, I will get a 4.00 at this school, and at the school that I want to transfer at. The school I want to transfer at does not offer any AP or Honors classes, but it has all of my friends that I miss and love. I would basically be popular if I transfered, but that's not what I want. What I want is my friends, my old life back, and to be happy again. So what do you think? 1.) Transfer next year, and not be able to take any honors or AP classes, but still get 4.00's, comunity service, clubs, and possibly a sport. Plus being HAPPY with many friends and a social life. or... 2.) Don't transfer, but be in honors and AP classes, clubs, a sport, and community service. BUT be unhappy and miserable, with not so many friends. Oh, and it takes 30 min. to get to the schoo I'm going to now. For the school that I want to transfer at, it takes 5 min. Voice your opinion. I'm depressed...ugh.
