I am disappointed in the medicinal field because many professionals largely fail to see the importance of mineral and chemical balances in the body, and how this affects our health tremendously.
A large percentage of diseases are caused or affected by imbalances or defiencies in vitamin, nutrients and minerals. The over-consumption of denatured/processed foods, along with drugs and other junk substances contributes to this. There are many scientific studies that point to this, but the medicine field seems to ignore that for the most part.
I think nutrition ought to be more than just a complementary practice to medicine, it should be the staple practice of medicine.
