I got a mongrel, he's definitely got lab in him, his dad was a stray dog and mated with my friends dog and he was born, his brother is fine, I've been to see him and was perfectly normal but our dog is horrible, I was quite young when we got him so I have to admit I used to tease him a little, but he's over the top...
He is very aggressive, especially if he has something like food, toys, stuff that he may think others want, he's over excited when someone comes into the house and I have noticed when I or my brother have food and he doesn't he'll sit at the gate and if you look at him he'll smile, and show his teeth and sometimes bark or growl. Going back to what I was saying if he has something and anyone (except my mum) he'll growl at you, and I've never had this experience but if someone he didn't know went into the kitchen while he had something he'd probably bite them... he has never really attacked any of us I think he might be telling us the kitchen is his.
When he's got nothing he's a really nice dog, he's friendly and all that but he just clicks when he gets anything! Opinions?
