Should the tabloids and gossip columnists be censored? What is your opinion?

In America we have freedom of the press. I hate Tabloids too but unless they break some 'decency' laws, they should be allowed.

The above draw attention to matters that should be kept personal and encourage negative behavior and self image. They also detract from the more important matters at hand.

It would be a great step to mankind and society.

Such worthless information is a waste of time and money.

Gossip tabloids harrass individuals, and their private lifes are brought unfairly to the public without their consent or even knowledge about it.

They are among the biggest distractions that the media tries to inflict upon the masses, so they will not focus on REAL problems and they can have their way.

But of course, if you are smart and have a reasonable mind, you will come to the conclusion that people will always care more about what Angelina Jolie is wearing, than something worthy of news like children starving to death and wars for oil in the middle east.
