So i had a problem with Microsoft Silverlight and i guess i made it worse, i know i made a mistake please don’t give me a response like "well you should’ve have known better" please just answer my question if you have an answer I am using windows 7 ultimate 32-bit O.S.
Windows update kept telling me i need to update Silverlight, and every time i tried the update failed to find silverlight.msi file, so i decided to try to uninstall and reinstall Silverlight except when i tried it was telling me uninstall failed due to that same .msi file missing, so i went to the registry and deleted every trace of Silverlight that there was and was(that's where i believe i fd up) finally able to get rid of it from my list of programs, only than i tried to re-install it from the Microsoft website, i downloaded Silverlight 4 and clicked install and immediately my install failed with no error code it just said install failed that’s it and had a button to click for more info, but when i click more info all it says it is a generic error and could be caused by many things, I’ve browsed and browsed through forms but nothing helps, I’ve tried registry fixer programs, I’ve even tried to install all the older versions of Silverlight none of them work, all the exact same thing not even 1.0, i really don’t want to have to re-install my o.s just for Silverlight so if anyone has any suggestions please respond, thanks allot
