Well, i really want to make electronica music like: Owl City (http://www.myspace.com/owlcity), The Ready Set (http://www.myspace.com/thereadysetmusic), or NeverSayNever (http://www.myspace.com/neversayneverrocks) And I'm kind of only 12....lol! So... 1. I can't really buy anything more than $500..... 2. It can't be very complicated, I mean i am definitely willing to take time and learn how to work everything but it can't be WAY too confusing. I'm not a professional!!! And I just wanna do this for fun too! Not to become a world-famous artist and make millions of dollars (which is like impossible anyway lol!) 3. I also don't want to have like a million different programs/software/etc. on my computer....because i just don't. So if i need to download any more then like 7 programs then don't bother suggesting..... 4. I don't need amazing million dollar/amazing quality equipment(or software). Again, this is just for fun! So don't tell me that i won't get anything "amazing" for under $500, because i know that. I don't want amazing, i want simple but worth every penny/"good" quality equipment/software. So my question is, what should i use to make my music? Should purchase a vocoder/synthesizer? If thats the case, then i was recently looking at the Korg microKORG. That doesn't look to confusing for me, what do you think? I also looked at a few programs, like FL studio. But FL studio seems very complicated to me....[x_x] I did download it but there are like a million different switches/buttons/instruments/the list goes ON an ON..... So, please give me your opinion on whether i should get an actual Vocoder/Synthesizer or Software. And also which one specifically do you think would be food for me (I mean like the name..as in like FL studio or microKORG). I hope that my question was clear....It's hard for me tp be clear, since my brains so weird and strange lol! xD Thanks for helping!! ^_^
