[QUOTE="ProgressiveGuy, post: 2141759, member: 760585"] You've been attacked by the fun fundamentalists. I wrote a question on here the other day saying I have a tattoo, smoke cigars, and occasionally drink. I also wrote I'm a youth pastor. I pulled the question because of the terrible things "christians" wrote. You're definitely right about Christians not following Jesus. The problem is because they use things in the Bible out of context to justify their actions. They don't see that the Bible centers around Jesus. Instead, they use the Bible as a Constitution rather than a guidebook to Jesus. As a constitution, we constantly on the defense and never will be good enough. As a guidebook, we see how to live like Jesus and show Christ-like love to the world. Christians are known more for what they are against, protest, and hate. Jesus was known for love. If we are truly acting like Christ, we should love everyone including liberals, homosexuals, Muslims, and Atheists. We should care about the outcasts in the world rather than target the "sinners."
