Verizon issued me a replacement device through mail because my current phone(Blackberry Storm) was defective. I was suppose to send the defective phone back, but I never did because they didn't include a bubble envelope or a mailing address to send it back to. So I said **** it. I'm not going out of my way for them. So they charged me $499.99 for a "Replacement Non Return" charge.

So can I take the defective phone directly to a Verizon store and give it back? If so will they immediately take the $499.99 off of my bill?

Regardless if they do or don't, I will have to pay it to keep in good standing with them. My credit is excellent and I can't afford them to send it to a collection agency.

Thanks!
