...ban public places? http://uk.health.lifestyle.yahoo.net/new-york-introduces-outdoor-smoking-ban.htm

So will the UK now follow? Apparently some local councils in the UK have already banned smoking in parks. How difficult will it be for you as a smoker? If your a non smoker don't you just love the idea of going out and about without smoke blowing in your face. Opinions please

ban it completely for the sake of young people, like they banned chewing tobacco 30 years ago, let's not carry on letting new young smokers do serious harm to themselves,in 20 years people would then laugh at this pointless habit of inhaling highly dangerous chemicals,

I think that's Insane and Its foolish to upon smoker's rights where are they suppose to go I think Its unfair.

yes a complete ban on smoking would benefit everyone ,,, especially the long term health of those that do smoke ,, and greatly improve their finances ,

i think it is a wise decision, as nicotine is carcinogenic and addictive

So what about breathing in Carbon Monoxide belching out of cars, lorries and buses? It is a ridiculous idea and one i will defy if it is brought in over here. If smoking is that bad then ban it altogether. No sales = no revenue, see how the exchequer would raise taxes, VAT etc to compensate for the extortionate tax levied on tobacco, then listen to the zealots screaming about it.

I detest walking along being subjected to a cloud of stink from some ignorant person who has overdone their perfume. Can we ban that?

Outside is outside.
