I have an HP Pavilion dv 6700 laptop with windows Vista and I did some updates and the sound randomly stopped working. I have a red X on the sound controls and I don't know how to fix it. I went and tried going to Control Panel > Device manager and from there I tried looking for the "sound, video, and game controllers" option and it doesn't show up neither does the "other devices". I was wondering if there is anyway for anyone to help me get my sound back. Thanks
