Very often I hear curious noises on AM stations that you dont hear on FM. They always seem like they are far away or on another station bleeding over.The first is morse code noises and the 2nd sounds like a clock or one of those devices that keep time for piano players "tock...tock...tock...tock". I know this isn't a great description.
