someone help with mobile phone difficulty?

I got a LG Shine-CU720.... I got a memory card inserted but it wont let me go into the files, it keeps saying "card not ready" and because of that it wont let me connect it to the computer

I have had this phone for a few months and it hasn't happened before

does anyone know what I could do? please
 
Take the card out and put it back in again. This is a temporary fix, you need to get the phone checked out by a specialist
