which's better sony bravia or samsung lcds and plasma and why and what is a good model

I have been very happy with Samsung. My PC screen is a Samsung SyncMaster 206ew and tv is Samsung 46" 5 series. I am very happy with the factory default color settings and the picture is excellent. I have not had pixel issues on the PC screen for more than 2 years so far.

i recommend sony and so will a lot of other people...they make great quality tvs but usually with a bigger price tag...samsung is a good brand too so if the sony u are looking at is too expensive and u decide to go with samsung, its not a bad thing
