sony ericsson w302 won't turn on?

i purchased a sony ericsson w302 about a year ago. Recently i cant turn it on. i hold down the red button which shoud turn it on, but it doesn't do anything. i've tried charging it and taking the memory card and battery out etc. but i cant make it work
