I obtained this stereo for free from a coworker. It is really nice and practically new. It's a 3-CD, 2 cassette, mp3 player, radio, clock, & subwoofer. Everything still works except the subwoofer. My coworker gave me this stereo because his cat had chewed thru the speaker wires. I replaced all the speaker wires and it sounds great. BUT the subwoofer only has 2 sets of speaker wire coming from it, [bare with no plugs]. one should go in the input for for the subwoofer that is a round male plug. the other should be for the "subwoofer controller," i believe the manual called it. These two plugs are missing. I was wondering where I could find these plugs and if it would be as simple and wiring them to the existing wires coming out of the subwoofer? Another guy had told me i may not need to use the "controller" [a small rectangular connection] and can probably just use any audio cable and it should work fine. I would try this, but i dont want to blow an undamaged subwoofer. Hopefully i've explained this well enough for someone to understand me.
it is the subwoofer input plug. it looks very similar to any other audio plug. i don't know if there is a difference or not.

On the back of the stereo, it says subwoofer input plug there.

On another piece it says subwoofer controller (that one is a very small rectangular piece)

When you say round male plug, are talking about something like say a headphone type plug or an RCA plug. The RCA plug is typically used to plug in components to an amp such as a CD player. Either one of those can be bought at radio shack. Or are we talking some other kind of round plug?
