soo... do dreams tell the future?

okay so i had a dream about my some-what of a friend die ing or something and my sister said that death mean new begging.. so a. is it a new start for me or my friend and b. how does the dream know that i will have a new start? or do i want a new start and my dream is just letting me know that i still want that new start [b/c im going into high school and yes, i do want a "new start" ect. new friends better grades] or is the dream telling me the future and saying that i will get a new start?
and i never had a dream about that again.. the new dream i remeber was i was drowning ...? but then i was saved i think.. idk

only your dreams know...if your next dream is about your friend coming back to life....your friend is jesus. Or maybe your failing everything and your telling yourslef to just start over. If none of this seems to imply see a doctor.

ive had dreams that have ended up coming true in the very near future and im in exactly the same situation and becuse i had the dream i know whats going to happen next, and it actually does happen sometimes i remember what i do, but at the last miniute i decide im not going to forfill what happens in my dream and do something else. and im no physic or anything, but its weird i feel as if fate is is my control when it happens. but none of the dreams have been about big disarsters or andthing just random simple everyday events, like a dejavu but much clearer as i can see whats going to happen. it freaks me out.

You could be completely convinced a dream of yours predicted the future, but it is mostly likely just a "blank" memory filled in with something that just happened. A regressive thought. Pretty much, a false memory you created for yourself.
