Interestingly, one of the names for the LORD ('Yehova' = 'the self-existing eternal One') is also "The Fountain of Living Waters" ....
Jeremiah 17:13 O LORD, the hope of Israel (Israel means = Power with God as a prince), all that forsake You shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, THE FOUNTAIN of living waters.
Here also is beautiful inviting picture of the pure and holy God....
"A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon." Song of Solomon 4:15
" For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water." Jeremiah 2:13
And is this not a most wonderful picture of our Holy and Awesome God and His Christ ?....just LOOK AT WHERE HE IS GOING WITH THIS : ))
