well so ive been searching for a field for a LONG time, i hae found this massive field that's great for horses but the field doesn't have a stable so i asked the owner of the field about that & he said he cant build a stable but he can build a shelter,

so my question is - some horses wouldn't be able to live in this field would they?
would it be to cold?
what horses woldnt i be able to put there?

That depends on where you live?
If you are in the UK, the native breeds will be fine, I would think that any finer breeds may find it a bit to harsh. We have a welsh cob, who is rugged up, and has a shelter, he comes in when it is really wet, because we feel he should! And I would hate him to get mud fever, but he is so well feathered he seems imune to it!He would be happy to stay out and graze!
Has the field got any trees for shelter ? A the position of the shelter is important too, have it where it is naturally sheltered, or better still get one of the ones on ski's that you can pull around with a 4x4, then you can move it to suit.
