StarChoice reciever is in and out in the 300 channels?

I bought a new 52'' tv and hooked my starchoice back up and when i'm in the 300 channels it keeps in and out with signal. I changed the cable and it's doing the same thing. The signal is 75-80% on all channels only when i put it down in the 300's it goes from 80% to 25% every 30 secs. What could i have done or what can i try? Thanks
 
Do you have the Classic (locals in 300s) or Advanced (HD in 300s, locals below 110) lineup. If the former, you might have a connection or LNBF problem. If the latter, your dish might need correctly aimed, for the 8PSK used for the HD channels requires more precise aiming.
