The Royal College of Nursing responded to news that former health secretary Rt Hon Stephen Dorrell MP has been elected new Chair of the Health Select Committee. Dr Peter Carter, Chief Executive & General Secretary of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) said: "The RCN has a good relationship with Rt Hon Stephen Dorrell MP going back a number of years and we welcome his appointment as Chair of the Health Select Committee.
