My aquarium water is milky cloudy. It stated about 4/5 weeks ago. About 4/5 weeks ago we changed the lights as one broke, and the new ones are a lot brighter so this may be the cause of the cloudiness. So its most likely a bacterial bloom but I want to get rid of it. The pet shop said leave it and wait but its been 5 weeks and no change. Last weekend I bought Nutrafin Clear Fast, it says it works in 1 - 3 hours. Its been 2 days and no change. Please can someone help me get rid of it. I want to start a Rainbow fish species tank but can't until i've sorted out the cloudy water. This is my first tank so you could say i'm a beginner. It's 10 months old. Juwel 240, 240L. Well Planted. Sand substrate. 2 filters. pH: 7.2 Ammonia: 0.1 mg/L Nitrite: 0.05 mg/L Nitrate 4.0 mg/L Fish: 4 Platys 3 Cory's 10 black neon's 8 neon's 4 rainbows 8 harlequins
