Still limping, but not crying or whimpering after cast is off??

My puppy is still limping, ( not badly), and his cast came off last week. I took him to the vet, he said wait... But why is he still limping. He`s not crying.

How long was he in the cast? There may be some muscle weakness since he hasn't used the leg "normally" for a while, and he needs some time to "work out the kinks".

When they're in a cast, they lose muscle tone because they are not using the immobilized limb as much as usual. If the vet thinks it's OK, the limp should subside as your dog gets its muscle tone back.
