For my finance project i need to write an analysis over some stocks and right now I am stuck on observing the recommendation trends from the analyst opinion in Yahoo finance. I do not understand the different numbers under the current month, last month, 2 months ago and 3 months ago columns and how they relate to the strong buy or the selling rows. Please help!
Thanks!

That's how many analysts were recommending the stock (current month, 2 months ago, etc.)

Unless that is a required part of your assignment, don't pay any attention to that garbage. Analysts have ulterior motives for recommendation, and zero incentive to downgrade (they might even lose their job). Meaningless crap.

All of them will show recommendations right into bankruptcy.

First, the future cannot be known. Second, nobody can foretell the future. Even if analysts were free to do their job well, like economists, the best you could hope for is 50%, or about the equivalent of a coin toss.
