Suddenly, i can't connect to the internet. I think it's because of firewall,

but i'm not sure. Help please.? Yesterday night i turned firewall on on my laptop. After that, i couldn't connect to the internet. YM and firefox didn't work, but bitcomet could still connect. I opened the firewall settings and modified them. Now i can't connect at internet at all. I even turned firewall off and i still couldn't connect.
Note that this issue appeared on my laptop on which i have windows vista home premium, if that helps somehow.
