Suzuki GS500 E Tires?

I just bought a 2000 GS just before this winter, the snow is melting now and I need new tires for it. This is my first bike, so I just need all around good tires. I have gotten quotes and it's between the Bridgestone BT45's (around 117 each) or the Metelzer Lazertecs (130 for back and 110 front) + the installation costs (sighhh). Pro's and con of each tire? Does it matter? Thanks.

Dear Grob, Bridgestone & metzler both make good tires. If your looking for longevity I would choose the bridge, performance the metz. Bridgestone is usually a harder compound while metz is normally a softer compound.
