my fiance recently changed the fork seals in his bike and now they are really loose again. they are not leaking and the seals are still good. he only changed them a couple weeks ago. what else could make the forks loosen up like that? This is his transportation to work so we're looking for an answer quick.
to answer the first persons question; when you lean on the handle bars the forks have too much give, aka; they push down way too far.
thank you chris but everything is torqued down and he has an owners manual. it just doesnt mention this problem. the problem isnt that the wheel wobbles.. its the forks push down too far and the only thing he can think of is that the seals are leaking but there is no leak and they are brand new.
a note from him personally...anyone want to help me out with out going threw the answers thing can IM me at fat_a**[email protected] i appreciate everyone's help and thank u all...note; the stars in the email are ss.. yahoo wont let me type that.

The bolts on the triple-clamp need to be torqued down to the specs needed.
Another couple of problems may at the steering head nut and/or the front axle.
Your BF needs to get his sh!t together before it's all over the highway!
An Owner's Manual would be MOST helpful or put 911 into both of your 'speed-dials'.

DID HE PUT THE RIGHT OIL IN THE FORKS????

sounds like the forks are OK... just to soft...
