few questions.
1. has suzuki said anything about potentially introducing a suzuki TU500?
the tu250 is a bad @$$ little bike, and it reminds me a lot of my 69 suzuki T125 and 69 suzuki T500 bikes, and i really want to get one given that they are fuel injected, have push button start, electronic ignition, front disk brakes, and all the creature comforts of a NEW bike that my 1969 bikes don't have PLUS modern reliability / a brand new motor etc,
but, i do have a T500, which is a quick little 500cc two stroke bike.
I typically ride my 125 down the street to the gas station to buy sodas and ciggs, and i take my T500 across various parts of town because it's fast enough to get on the highway etc..
I'm afraid that the TU250 won't be fast enough for my needs given that it's a beginner's bike. but it would be a cool little bike to put around on.
If they are talking about releasing a TU500, i'd gladly buy that over a TU250. Me nd my girlfriend could easily ride around the neighborhood on a TU250, but wouldn't be able to get on the highway with both of us riding it.
the second part of this question is whether anyone out there knows if there are performance mods for the TU250 that will give it extra power..
Maybe a power commander, exhaust, high performance cam, crap like that? This is kind of a loaded question considering i manage one of the largest online sellers of OEM and aftermarket parts on the internet right now, and i've been unable to find a dambed thing about this bike in regards to performance mods, but maybe someone knows something i don't ???? I don't know enough about the bike itself to know if there are other things that will fit on the bike from larger bikes that will help with the power... like maybe a larger fuel injection system, etc..
The problem is that the TU250 has just as much power as my suzuki T125 when it runs optimally.. the top speed of the TU250 should be around 80mph, which, i can achieve all day long with my 1969 T125 two cylinder two stroke considering i have a cowl, rear sets, butt stop seat, and all that vintage race crap on it to help with air resistance.
rambling....... any thoughts?
