Sweet 16 party, vacation, or possibly both?

So, at the end of August I will turn 16 and I've had this plan to take about 3 or 4 friends to Myrtle Beach for a week and just go crazy. But I've been thinking that it might be better to just stay in town and throw a huge party. There is the possibility of doing both, but I highly doubt I could save enough before the end of the summer.

I do have a job, so it's not like I'm going to try to force my parents to pay for all of this, I just don't know which to choose.

Also, if I take everyone to the beach, how much should I be responsible for paying for? I was thinking that I would take care of hotel, car, admission to places and if they wanted to shop or something they would be paying for that. Should I pay for everyone's meals too, or maybe find a hotel that supplies some meals so that it's cheaper? I'm not sure.

I think taking some close friends for a get away would be really memorable, so would a big party, but I think you would have a better time with your really close friends.
And I think it's fair on what u decide to pay for, but you should pay for peoples meals not snacks n such. And you shouldn't pay for peoples shopping that's your choice.

You should take your closest friends to myrtle beach.because having a party takes to much money (&) time.also there might be drama ! (&)drama aint qood !
 
I think you should go to Myrtle Beach with your closest friends. I would rather have a low key thing, than have a crazy party where who knows what would happen. You could tell them to help pay for the room because it can get tough with everyone paying for themselves at restaurants. Good luck with your decision! :)
