Sweet in person, but a loser on the internet and phone...?Help?

I like this guy, in person he is so sweet and easy to talk to. But, when we talk on myspace and text he turns into a total ass. It totally turns me off and I think he's just trying to come off "cool".

Should I just avoid my phone and myspace when he's on, and only call him to talk or in person? I don't know how to like a guy like this, what should I do?
