Switch from Rogers to telus? please help?

Hello,

So my friend is giving me her old blackberry curve. She is with rogers. i am with telus.

Could i take the phone and use it on telus?

If so, what are some of the things i would need to know.. help!?Q?!?

ya,it's impossible.Rogers is GSM network But Telus is CDMA network.
