My main computer (HomeComputer) has all my music on it and it's unavailable right now. I wanted to listen via iTunes, so I hooked my iPhone up to my WorkComputer, clicked "transfer purchases" and authorized WorkComputer to work with my iTunes account.
Some of my music transferred, but music downloaded from 11/07 to 11/08 disappeared. I have no idea why. I've transferred via iPhone before and nothing like this has ever happened before.
HomeComputer is currently out of commission (but it's being fixed) so the situation isn't dire. I didn't back up music because I thought the iPhone itself was a way of backing it up, but why would so much of it disappear?
