Ok so whenever I hear a phrase or sentence, I have to count the syllables on my fingers, and they have to equal ten (ten fingers). If they don't equal ten, I "stretch" out the letters for example, fire could be "fire" or "fi-re". Does anyone else do this? It's not really a problem, more like a "game" that i can't stop or control, i just do it.
I also HAVE to close doors, even when i was in elementary school and i got chicken nuggets in a box, i would take out one piece of chicken and close the box.
I've told my mom that i think i have OCD but she keeps delaying taking me to the doctor, is there anything i can do myself?
